This is so friggin' cool. Truly the best rendition I have ever seen. Noticed somebody already mentioned the tattoos, which I was debating over pointing out, merely because this art is so amazing I didn't want to say even one thing bad about it. Love it.
At the end of Hounded I believe he mentions how he lay on the side that has his tattoos for maximum connection with the earth. There were a few others I think but its not that big of a deal anyway. I'd love to see your take on some of the other characters since you captured Atticus and Oberron so perfectly.
You are correct! Thank you kindle for making that easier to find. Luckily the paintings mostly correct, just a tiny bit of left hand to fix. I'm very tempted to do a Morrigan, not to mention the Law Offices of Vampire & Werewolf. I think I just to draw a dog in a suit. Many good characters.
Hello, we'd like to feature this piece in our new group [link] would you be interested? Several people have already requested that this piece be accepted. We'd love to have it in our favorites! Thanks, #TheIronDruidChronicles group
Hi Star, Thank you for the kind words. Unfortunately I don't think I can use the image for prints or shirts as it's not my character. I do design other tees though, which you can find here...[link] Cheers!
Cody, liked your stenciled items on Etsy. I sell my dolls there now. I used to air brush motorcycle tanks and vans in my distant youth. Also did air brushed tee shirts. I don't have the space to do that now. Wish I did. I never could keep my OOAK air brushed shirts in stock. It was good money.
Have you talked to the author about getting a license? He was the one who had your site on his face book page. It could be a cash cow for both of you. Ask. All he can say is no or yes! Tell him you have customers lined up! and take a count of heads on Deviant to see how many people would be interested.
Any way I think you did a great job and I'm so into Atticus and Oberon now. Just waiting for the next book. Star (eagle wings)
Weird, I replied but it didn't show. I actually screen print the shirts. In a way like a stencil, but a very unique process. Thank you for the kind words, we'll see about A & O t-shirts for the future. Cheers!
I'll take that as a compliment, though I do think they did a good job on the covers. I would love to see more traditional illustration on book covers (Barron Storeys Lord Of The Flies is one of the reasons I'm an artist), but with the current trends in jacket art, I think the IDC covers look good. In any case, thank you!
